The numbers say it all. Weight is down two kilos, good right?
Wrong. I'm burning muscle. Or actually, I'm not rebuilding torn-up muscle when I sleep. Instead I am cranking out white blood cells to fight the sickness.
This is why I need sleep when I am sick. And why I need to get back on the program! Body needs protein to rebuild muscle and calories to burn for making white blood cells, instead of burning all the muscle I've spent the past month building.
Must. Be. Healthy!
