what is the difference between supper and dinner?

Chicken with sesame seeds, steamed veggies, and some "corn soup" from the free coffee vending machine at the end of the office. It's actually pretty good. I don't think it actually has anything to do with corn, but it's a pleasant enough thick yellow beverafood.

  1. For what it's worth... in the American South, "dinner" is traditionally what's eaten at midday, and "supper" is eaten in the evening. I don't know many people who still say it that way, but some of my older relatives did.

Corn soup from the vending machine, eh? Looks a little scary!

  3. I dunno about you, but I always thought all the stuff from those machines tasted like they were coated with wax or plastic...stick to the water and decaf/no sugar coffee.
